Standard installation thanks to ISO connectors, with the Fabie2 I had to dismantle the entire box otherwise there is no chance to run the cables, I had to cross the power supply, otherwise the radio would not remember the settings after turning off the ignition. Mentioned in the manual.
Pleasant sound, radio reception without problem, Bluetooth pairing even without APP without problem (A52s), voice from Waze navigation immediately at a reasonable level, audio from mobile phone without problem.
I don' t know if it' s correct, but if I turn off the ignition with the radio on and then turn the ignition on again, I don' t have to turn on the radio (as with the old one) and even the music from my mobile starts playing where it left off (from the mobile via BT).
Charging the mobile via USB worked, max consumption from the radio 1.5A, even though the mobile can charge up to 2A. The charging did not affect the radio functions and the mobile did not report slow charging as with a weaker charger.
Terrible to chaotic manual, it' s more for experiments than leafing through. I couldn' t connect the mobile via cable (USB-C) to make it work as with BT, so other attempts.
You will learn from the manual that the driver should never sing with the microphone, but there is a description of the karaoke settings on the page. Otherwise, the supplied microphone is not used for karaoke, but you have to purchase another one - a dynamic one. You also cannot sing to the radio or AUX device. The second one is understandable, you have a microphone stuck in there. I thought of putting a car radio in the bus for the tour guide with audio accompaniment.
You will learn from the manual that if you leave the phone in standby mode via BT when the engine is not running, the battery may be discharged. I don' t know which one the author meant.
I think they didn' t read the instructions in the factory, some options don' t match, including reports.
The 13-band EQ is more for the sound master. SmartSync is said to have a 31-band EQ? I haven' t found a simple depth-mid-treble setting unless the preset options with additional bass additions are fine. For this, you can choose the cut-off frequencies of the loudspeaker filters and the steepness of the HPF and LPF filters. Maybe I' ll remove the plastic resonances with it. It' s more for practice, 99% of drivers don' t know which one beats. The exit from the emergency is then a complete reset.
In addition, when SmartSync was enabled, EQ control from the radio was blocked. It is not possible to control the radio and mobile at the same time.
