Some would argue that it is too fat, although it cannot be done otherwise for this distance while maintaining speed. I definitely recommend the cable, for me - a good investment
If you have a fast interface on both sides, this cable is essential.
Quality
It is stronger, more flexible, but this is necessary to maintain speed and length. So it's not really a contradiction, it's a feature.
