Finally, grating crayons is not a chore, but fun. I think of it as relaxing while teaching a first grader: -D
The blades themselves are interchangeable, so until I find a replacement, I've swapped them between the inserts so far
The alkaline batteries started to fade after less than 2 months of daily use - solid for me.
