I was waiting for the phone long before the release because of the camera, as I was thinking about upgrading from the S10. As soon as it was announced and the camera was praised everywhere, I didn't hesitate and pre-ordered the phone. The phone was issued to me in a strange, spongy plastic bag, but the original packaging was not opened, but I still had a feeling that there was something wrong with it. To my unpleasant surprise, what I bought it for - the camera - didn't work. After switching it on, the phone restarted twice and took five minutes to boot up. I tried everything possible, but nothing worked and I had to return the phone. Este mister in samsung service started laughing that the new phone, presented by the camera, and it does not work. I was not laughing at 1400€. It is a great pity that samsung probably did not expect such interest in phones and did not deliver enough quantities - which delayed other orders and especially was not possible immediate replacement of the defective product, the phone would I would like to try properly. I believe that the others will not have problems with the camera and the only defective product was caught by me.

I switched from the honor 8 and so far I'm satisfied, the cameras during the day are not that much of an improvement over the 5 year old mobile, but at night the photos are much better.
Unfortunately, the mobile has lost some of the features of its predecessors and I would rather have a 3.5 mm jack and sd card in the mobile instead of the S-pen, which I use minimally.
I got a voucher for free headphones today, so I don't know what some people were doing that I guess they couldn't even fill in their name in the registration.

Satisfied I do not regret the investment.
The battery lasts me a day with very active use. Let's say about 10 hours of constant use.
The resolution is reduced by default, because of the batteries. It's trivial to put a super display and then not use it.
The 30x and 100x zoom works, but realistically it is impossible to hold. So use only on a tripod.
Absolutely no equipment.

For me, the disappointment of the year. Samsung isn't moving forward with smartphones, rather I feel like it's stagnating or slightly reversing. It doesn't deserve the price tag it has, because in my opinion it's more of just a "repackaged" S20 or S21. When I directly compare the sound of the speakers from my old Galaxy S9+ with the speakers of the new S22 Ultra, the sound is clearly better on the old S9+. That's quite a stretch for the S22 Ultra, because the S9+ predates it by up to 4 generations! For having a 5000 battery, the S22 Ultra is again only a 1-day smartphone. The battery life is almost identical to my old S9+. Photos haven't moved on and are only marginally better than on the old S9+. The only real improvement in photos I perceive only with a perfect optical zoom. The rendering of details is poor, the photos suffer from unnecessarily strong contrast and sometimes I feel that the objects in the photos are distorted on the sides or strangely stretched.

I expected more from the camera. It is too overrated and the reality is considerably worse. Detail rendering is poor compared to the competition.
It discharges quickly and the paper-thick 5000 flashlight doesn't last much. Despite the various modes and battery saving, this is only a 1-day smartphone.
Speaker sound is subjectively worse than on my old Galaxy S9+
In the same places I've been with the Galaxy S9+, the S22 Ultra always has a weaker signal.
Fingerprint scanning is as slow as the optical sensor on the Pixel 6 Pro. I expected more. It's roughly as fast as the old S9+.
