In my opinion, probably the best price/performance ratio. Sleep coach, heart rate measurement, daily summaries – exactly what you expect from a smartwatch. They fit comfortably and are pleasantly light on the wrist. I use them with a Samsung mobile, some features might be limited when pairing with other brands. The battery, of course, like with other smartwatches, has a capacity of a day and a few hours.
Elegant
convenient
Goes well with smart clothing too, doesn't look like a sports gadget.
The light-coloured strap gets dirty – it needs to be cleaned more often.
I originally had the Watch7, which I liked at first glance. I preferred the design of the watch face and the strap on those more than on the Watch9, but that's a matter of taste. I haven't had the Watch9 for long, but I'm very happy with it. Notifications from apps are fast. It's lightweight, easy to take off the wrist, and the strap is also easy to unclip from the watch body and face.
Easy data transfer from Watch7
Better battery life compared to the Watch7
exclamation mark signals a faulty charging station
The display is readable even in direct sunlight
It seems you can't use a strap from a different manufacturer.
I upgraded to the Watch9 from the Watch5 and I must say, it's a huge difference. The watch is elegant, comfortable and easy to wear, even overnight. It's light, you can barely feel it on your wrist. I was pleased by the overall snappier performance of the watch – everything reacts faster and it's more pleasant to use. I also like the clearer interface and overall I feel that the Watch9 is another step up from the Watch5. So far, I'm very satisfied with it.
nice, elegant design
Lightweight, very comfortable strap.
High-quality display and good readability
With intensive use, the battery still drains quite quickly.
These new watches look very elegant. Although I'm used to the completely round shape and non-protruding display of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6, I believe I'll get used to the new design. The brightness in direct sunlight is brilliant, in my opinion. They sit nicely on the wrist and are lightweight. I appreciate the better battery life and the new sports and other features. Overall, you can see that Samsung has put in the work on development and I'm happy with the watch.
Brightness in the sun
running coach feature (not supported on the older model)
Brilliant in my opinion, they respond excellently and I have to say I'm relieved they work with a Samsung A32 (with Android 13) without any problems. They track hand movement well and surprisingly, the sensors underneath the watch read the skin brilliantly too. You can see that Samsung has learnt from its mistakes and prioritised development. The only thing is the battery could last longer, but that's a minor detail that will hopefully be sorted out in the next series.
I'm satisfied.
The watch surprised me with its communication and accuracy.
responds well to hand movement
The battery performance is a bit weak, but it lasts for two days.
I last had the Galaxy Watch 7 and after switching to this watch, there's a really big difference in every respect. The biggest step forward is the noticeably better battery life, the immense brightness and readability of the display in direct sunlight, and also the smoother user interface thanks to the improvements in One UI.
The main plus points are definitely its fantastic elegance, low weight and how light it feels on the wrist, the great brightness in the sun and the top-notch quality of the display itself with its gorgeous colours.
On the other hand, I have to include the battery life among the minuses – even though the battery is better than before, it's still not the best on the market. Another disadvantage is the slightly raised display.
I switched to this watch from a relatively ancient Watch5, which had served me well, but Alzheimer's had finally knocked on its door and come inside. I'm pleasantly surprised by how much the watches have improved over the last few 'generations'.
Display quality, excellent readability even in direct sunlight
Low weight
Elegant appearance
Quick operating system response
The strap on the 40mm version is a bit short (this could be a problem for men who don't want a massive clock on their wrist).
I'm upgrading to these from a Samsung Galaxy Watch 46mm Bluetooth and the difference is a real leap forward. I'm just disappointed that the smaller watch size automatically comes with a small strap, so I had to buy another one. Otherwise, I'm really thrilled with the look, the smaller case, the display, the bluetooth range is similar to the old model, but connecting the watch to the phone is super smooth; with the old one, I often had to pair it manually.
size and thickness of the case
display on the screen
calls are easier to hear
seamless connection of the watch to my phone via Bluetooth
I've only had the watch for one day, so I can mainly just review my first impressions. I was very surprised by how light and comfortable it is on my wrist. I also like the nice and elegant design, which looks modern and goes well with everyday clothes. The controls are straightforward and so far I'm happy with the watch. I'm looking forward to gradually trying out all its features.
I've been buying the Samsung Galaxy Watch for years now, it has become a part of me and I practically never take it off. And when the Watch 9 came out, it was the obvious choice for me and I don't regret it. It's really well-made, sits comfortably on my wrist, the display looks more modern and the light silicone strap is also very comfortable. As a woman, I also appreciate being able to change the strap and the newer, simpler way of clicking it into the watch. The watch offers a wide range of sports and health features, which I'm gradually discovering, and it's a joy to monitor them in conjunction with Samsung Health. Although I mainly get the watch for tracking sporting activities like running or walking, I also like to track my sleep, body composition and other health functions. What I see as a problem so far is charging the watch, which takes over 2 hours and the watch overheats. Charging starts with a time estimate of 1 hour and 8 minutes, but this time gets longer during the charging process. And that's even with me charging the watch in flight mode or power-saving mode. The watch also gets very warm; I hope this is just a matter of a new system update. The battery life could also be more than 30 hours, but I've got used to it over the time I've been wearing this type of watch, so this is more of a wish than a complaint.
modern look and readable display (even in the sun)
light
Lots of sport and health features
very good synchronisation with my phone
Charging - takes a long time, the watch overheats.
