after unpacking, the inside does not smell like a plastic kettle, but it was clear that it was not completely clean. After touching with a finger in some places inside on the stainless steel, there was a greasy film that stained - maybe some residue from the processing/production of stainless steel. Before the first use, I thoroughly cleaned the inside of the kettle and washed it from the greasy film. And then he boiled it several times.
After cleaning and boiling, I am satisfied with the kettle.
the material is stainless steel, it doesn' t smell like a plastic kettle (I originally bought a SENCOR SWK 1501GR, but it smelled even after three boils. )
water stays hot longer than in a plastic kettle (this can be an advantage or a disadvantage)
As long as the kettle doesn' t cool down, you can easily get scalded if you' re a little careless. When you open the lid after boiling water, the condensed water from the steam on the inside of the lid partially drips onto the handle. It is necessary to be careful when adding water if you need to boil water several times in a row.
