The coolant bubbles when the compressor is running, which some refrigerators do. My previous fridge didn't do that, but it had a noisier compressor. I guess it's gonna take some getting used to. But it's not that bad, you can definitely fall asleep while doing it and in a while I probably won't notice it at all,
Opening from the top of the door seems less practical than if it had a classic handle, but it's just a habit.
