at least it looks nice in the kitchen
Unfortunately, it's happened to me a few times that when I was putting the bottle into the machine, I accidentally leaned on the top part of it, which started the carbonation and water sprayed all over the kitchen. In my opinion, the controls are a bit poorly designed in this respect, and I'd appreciate some kind of safety feature to prevent accidental pressing.
Another impractical thing is that after every carbonation, water is left in the upper part of the mechanism where the bottle attaches. To get it out, I have to shake the whole machine or tilt it to let the water drain. What's more, the machine doesn't have any drip tray at the bottom, so the water runs straight onto the kitchen counter. I had an older SodaStream model and I must say it was much better designed in terms of practicality and everyday use. From a newer model, I would expect improvements rather than a step backwards.

Hello, thank you for sharing your experience.
We're sorry that you didn't find using the appliance comfortable in all respects.
Handling the appliance, whether inserting an empty bottle or removing a bottle of already carbonated water, may require a little practice at first. Every appliance has its own quirks, and we believe that once you get used to handling the bottle during insertion and removal, you'll find its daily use more convenient.
When handling the appliance, we recommend proceeding with care and ensuring the bottle is correctly positioned to avoid accidentally starting the carbonation process.
Thank you also for your suggestions regarding the collection of residual water and the drip tray. We take customer feedback seriously and will pass it on to the relevant team for further consideration.
However, if this model does not suit you, we recommend considering returning it in accordance with the purchase terms and choosing a different model that will better meet your expectations.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us.
