I tried to load the whole set of mobile phone cover+sticker+plastic mandrel for 24 hours, but it didn' t help the contact to be better. Oh well, I assumed the manufacturer knew what they were doing. But I guessed wrong. So the final advice: either buy better quality and thicker double-sided tape from 3M, or glue it to another mobile phone cover. The original from Apple will hold better, soft silicone cases will also work better. Or buy another cover, where the clamping attachment/mandrel will be part of the cover and you won' t risk the phone for 30.
