He's doing what he's supposed to do.
In my experience, HD/4k ready is a publicity stunt because it is just a frequency converter at the carrier level, where it doesn't matter what signal is modulated. So an ancient universal LNB that has been on my roof for years works just as well at 4k.
The converter is really very unconventional and ugly in colour.
The LED is rather useless, but maybe together with the colour design it will scare away birds that settle on the dish: -)
The signal quality and level was the same as from the old LNB. I haven't tried weak satellites, though.

The picture reception is nice in high quality.
Simple, inexpensive hope it lasts at least 10 years.
Voltage indication.
Purchased because I thought the old LNB had gone, it was a weathered cable after all.
If by chance it does not signal the LED voltage, it is a bad cable to be measured with a voltmeter the cable must give either 13V or 18V according to the tuned station. If you measure less Volts the cable needs to be replaced, on all channels at Skylink it reports a weak signal.
