5G support, easy configuration, remote management
My older device, which worked on my previous TP-Link router with WPA2+AES secured 2.4GHz wifi, can't connect on this router.

Not disturbed by video streams even on a 2.4GHz network
Smart Wifi - the router broadcasts a common SSID for both 2.4GHz and 5Ghz networks and automatically switches between them
Option to turn off Wifi for the night
I haven't found out yet, I've been using it for a week

Since I also have cameras from this overrated brand, it is almost a tragicomedy to put these cameras back into service. Resetting is under the covers and disassembly on site is almost impossible, due to loss of cover and very poor access. I had to reconfigure several cameras and a bunch of different wireless peripherals, like temperature sensors, because of this crap. It took me half a day. I'll throw TP LINK out of the house when I can. This router doesn't even have better coverage, rather worse than the crap from ZTE. But the description of this device exudes such optimism that I really expected much more. Those four antennas are just for show. The router from ZTE has two and hidden. Yet the coverage is the same, if not better.
works
can overwrite SSID names of both extenders and its own.
