silent operation - in all phases except spinning and draining it seems to be almost inactive
spinning up to 1300 rpm is fine, but realistically 800 is enough in terms of laundry friendliness and energy saving as well as saving the washing machine itself; even on 800, the laundry is half dry when finished
easy handling of the washing machine - it has two wheels in the back and adjustable feet in the front; for handling, the central wheel slides out by turning the lever at the front and can be parked effortlessly
easy access and servicing of the coarse filter at the front of the washing machine
Clear and easy-to-read display indicates the washing phase and remaining time to finish
if you forget a piece of laundry, you can pause the washing by pressing the Start/Pause button during the wash, the washing machine "runs", unlocks the lid and the laundry can be loaded and then resumed

the drum door with its metal beak in the open position scratches the plastic lining of the washing machine opening - quite a sad design flaw (not functional), hopefully AEG will solve this in future iterations (photo)
the mechanism of opening the lid and its lock feels a bit clumsy which may be a subjective impression
