After many years of using two appliances, we decided to try a combination, primarily to save space. After the first few weeks of operation we are not completely thrilled (see the negatives) but we are definitely not disappointed.
Great wash, huge capacity

Decent app, mainly good for information on program length and completion
Completely silent, no sound at all from the bathroom even with the door open
Combined programmes (washing and drying) usually wrinkle the clothes

The comrades at AEG, however, thought of saving twenty cents on the Wi-Fi receiver on a 1300 euro washing machine and installed a device that is only capable of receiving a signal on the 2.4 GHz frequency - which is, however, more or less useless in the apartment buildings where this appliance is primarily intended, as it is usually overwhelmed. We kept the washing machine, my wife is very happy with it (it was a surprise after we returned from the hospital), but the Wi-Fi is a bit of a disappointment for us.
