the first time I got a bracket with a glitch. After the complaint I received a holder with the same defect. Description of defect: the holes for mounting the screws do not fit, the monitor cannot be mounted.
I would recommend it if there were no glitches

The product is of very good quality, it holds my 32“, 6.5 kg monitor without any problems, and I' m sure it can handle more. Everyone who writes that he can' t handle it probably didn' t even try to adjust the stiffness of the spring. Initially, it is set to the lowest possible stiffness, for certain safety reasons (so that you don' t kill yourself during unpacking). You can increase the stiffness simply by following the instructions in the package, no extra tools are needed.

As much as I was very happy with the AlzaErgo Arm D80B Essential USB holder, I am very unhappy with the AlzaErgo Arm S05B Tube holder
the possibility of a higher position of the monitor than other holders
Attention monitor 32 “, max. a load of 8 kg is nonsense
even when tightening the springs to the stop, it can carry a maximum of 2 kg
short threaded rod for attachment over the table top, if you have an IKEA table with a 5 cm top, it is not possible to attach!
Although all brackets are called AlzaErgo, beware of different monitor mounts

One thing to watch out for: If you want to center a hanging monitor (like a primary, sideways laptop), you need to be able to mount the mount on the left or right side of the desk (for me, the stand on one side and the back plate behind the drawers on the other were a problem), so there wasn't enough room on the desk. The center mount at the back of the desk top means you have to tilt the monitor towards you, back behind the desk the monitor width will extend into the arm.
Despite the statement of the right holder I can safely recommend. Still better than drilling four holes in a prefab for a VESA wall mount.
I definitely do not recommend a monitor larger than 24" and heavier than 4 kg. In about two positions, even the twenty-four slowly but surely "wilted".
I didn't understand the cable routing at the top of the arm. Since the connectors on the monitor are usually at the bottom, the cabling will only go through the bottom part under the plastic cover anyway.
