I read the reviews and was deciding to buy this charger, as according to the reviews the batteries get very hot when charging 1A. I found that if the charger is connected to the AlzaPower Qualcomm quick charger 3.0, it charges at 1A for each individual battery. However, if a charger is used that delivers a maximum current of 1A (used Samsung 5V, 1A), then 4 batteries are individually charged at about 0.5A, when charging 3 batteries it is about 0.7A and when charging 2 batteries it is about 1A. Charging from 0V (measured with a multimeter) also seems to work well. AlzaPower AAA rechargeable batteries were used for testing. To operate the charger, I highly recommend reading the instruction manual. If the charging current is tuned so that the batteries don't heat up significantly, the charger would get 5*
Power bank function (only from slot 1 when using the battery)
Charging from 0V
Multiple battery charging options
No charging adapter (cable only)
no voltage regulation, gets very hot when charging 1A

The batteries on refresh mode heated up to about 42 C° and started to leak, sputter and melt. After inserting newly purchased Alza batteries (AAA), the 1000 mAh batteries were charged to 1850 mAh. After putting them in another charger of a different brand, they were charged to 70%. I'm returning the charger. For 1000, - I'll choose another, hopefully better
Appearance
Display
Even when the battery is charged, it recharges it from zero
The 1000 mAh battery will charge (according to the display) to 1850 mAh!?
When the battery is inserted, it does not show the current charge level and charges straight from zero
Cannot set the same mode (charge, discharge, recovery, test) for all batteries at the same time. Must be set for each battery separately

I agree with the other reviews - the charger charges with too high current, which is great for fast charging of the cell, but it heats the battery enormously, even so that the foil with the printing on one AA battery curled up. But it is enough to connect the charger to a weaker power supply (I use 5V / 750 mA) and then it charges itself with a more friendly current. It would be enough if it could handle this regulation by itself, but I guess Alza is wiping chips during production. The eco paper packaging is also great, but apparently due to its lack of strength the first charger arrived with a cracked display. The second thing is that Alza puts the product in a paper eco packaging, in the Alza box it is all wrapped in non-recyclable bubble wrap (you can't separate the plastic from the paper)
charging/discharging/regeneration options etc.
eco paper packaging
the charger charges with an absurdly high current of 1A/sachta. This can really reliably destroy some batteries

It works, it charges
Unable to limit the maximum charging current, the battery suffers from overheating
The temperature shows the temperature inside the device, not the battery (I read this in the manual of the same product, but different brand)
Charging current is always 1A
If you interrupt charging, the charger overcharges! There is no automatic "intelligence" working there.

charging speed
mode selection (charge, discharge, test (charge, discharge and charge again - remembers measured mAh from discharge) and recovery)
Measured value indicator
power supply using an adapter with USB-C, i.e. you just need a better mobile phone adapter
clear display
inability to select/limit the charging current, I don't know what the microprocessor selects the charging current according to, but AAA and AA always charge 1A
discharge current always 350 mAh, but that's a detail
the temperature sensor in the gauges shows who knows what the battery temperature is even 15 degrees higher
