Seamless connection to QNAP NAS
Decent battery life
It's a terrible light. Illuminates the whole room at night
Quite decent heat
The audible signalling during an outage is maddening. Beeping every five minutes at night just makes you get up and go turn off the UPS
I don't understand why they didn't do a backlight color change instead

simple set-up
reliable and mainly verified manufacturer (this is the third UPS from APC)
the first two weeks it really smells (a fault of overheating, or worse plastics? )

Do not buy this series of APC. I trusted APC because of their reputation; this was a mistake. The transformer is on 24/7 (which is bad), and the fan only runs in certain cases (this is not good either); this is cooking the batteries, badly cutting their lifespan. The batteries cannot be replaced without voiding the warranty and complex technical operations. The APC software keeps reporting "batteries OK" even if they are bad; their tests are useless. Mine stopped being able to take over even 80W of load after 2 years and 1 day - conveniently just outside the warranty period. If the power cuts out, the APC dies immediately. For the cost of this horrible cost-cutting design you can get much better Eaton or Cyberpower units. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Horrible battery life

I was happy with the previous APC model, it worked for over 5 years before the battery went dead. That's why I bought 2 of these newer APC models. One UPS to myself, one to a relative in the family (so they were in different environments and differently utilized). The first UPS broke in 1.5 years, the second in less than 2 years. After my experience with this model, I will go to another brand next time.
Control software
It does what it's supposed to when the power goes out, it holds long enough. It will give you enough time to save everything in peace, hang up and shut down the computer.
Quiet
Unreasonably strong lighting, at night the whole room is so green that you can see it like a night lamp
I bought 2 UPS, both stopped working while still under warranty (fortunately, solved by replacement)
