Compared to previous versions, this is a significant advance. I still have the AirPods Pro 1 and the difference is really noticeable. The case seems a bit bulky and I was surprised by the size of the plugs - neither of them fits on my right ear, one is too big and the other is too small. The seal test shows that the headphones fit correctly. But I believe that Apple will fine-tune the minor software flaws in updates over time. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and definitely have no regrets.

I switched with AirPods Pro 2 with Lightning, mainly because of the differently tuned sound. Listeners of electronic music - House, techno, D'n'B, etc. They will hear and welcome the difference from the previous generation. I'm also glad I got rid of the last device with a Lightning connector (although I liked it) and don't have to lug an extra cable in there. What I regret is the increase in the case. I have the headphones in a durable ESR case and compared to the APP2 with the same type of case, the APP3 are noticeably larger. Otherwise, the delivery time of Alza was a pleasant surprise this time and I waited only 2 days extra...: ).

After about two days of testing, I have to say that the headphones are a fine transition as a result. The sound is fuller, cleaner and much punchier, especially in terms of bass. I'd say it's because of the new plugs that have the new foam in them. I have a Pro 2 at home so I could directly compare. I wouldn't say that the sound is much better (of course it is, especially the bass and clearer highs) but rather I see it as a different and different sound profile of the headphones and it won't fit everyone who switches from the Pro 2. When I unboxed the Pro 3 and put them in my ears for the first time, I expected the sound of the Pro 2 to be 10 levels up. But that didn't happen and instead I sat on the couch thinking "Wtf, I didn't see that coming". It's different. Not worse, just different sounding. And that just doesn't sit right with a person who has hundreds, maybe even thousands of hours on the Pro 2. But after two days I have got used to the sound and I see it as a positive change. The bass is definitely better, it's more punchy and has a kick to it, yes, but the other frequencies were a bit unusual to begin with. I was used to the sound profile of the Pro 2, which I had in my ears for several hours a day. However, I played around with the equalizer and now super. Overall, I'm positive, especially glad I got rid of the lightning completely. I haven't tested the heart rate measurement yet, I have watches for that. There's not even a cable in the package anymore, watch out for that.

The way the airpods are now bigger they stick out of the ear weirdly, purely from an aesthetic point of view for me the Pro 2 look much better in the ear
