Works great with my HDDs (Toshiba 14, 16, 20TB, Seagate 6 and 12TB, WD 4TB).
USB extension must be purchased for the PC crate (with Vention USB 3.5m 0.5m works).
If the manufacturer hadn't skimped on the short USB cable, I would rate the product 100 percent. Those few extra cm would probably make the product very expensive: -)
compatibility with all my 3.5' HDDs (1.5 - 20TB)
tragically short USB cable (about 20 cm)

if anyone is interested, it works like clockwork with RPi4 (raspberry) (also via USB HUB). My current setup rpi4b 8GB from it USB HUB Orico and from the hub 4x this fastport 3 reducer with SSD. DAC sound system via Fiio M3K. keyboard, mouse, 32" Samsung 4k 60hz, Audio-Technika M50Xbt, no just a great low watt system but a great performance. I have the RPi clocked at 2100 Mhz and SWAP in the frame, system on SSD. For me a blast, who knows so moving shadows in the darkness
works with RPi4 8GB (all should work)
works also in USB HUB with external power supply
USB HUB and from it 4x this reduction with 4x SSD

Like I don't know, in the description it says it's compatible with any sata drive, but with the Seagate IronWolf 8TB CMR it doesn't work for me. No problem with the ssd, but I need it for the hdd.
Does not work with 3.5'' 8Tb HDD

I bought two in total. There is also a non-powered version, but it only supports 2.5".
Applicable to both 2.5" and 3.5" HDDs.
When I need to move something between inter and external HDDs I don't have to open the case.
Sometimes it's not available.
