Easy charging with indication.
Ideal for children's toys, sensor lights, etc.
Finally, the battery recharges to a nominal 1.5V (and not 1.2 like the cheaper ones).
Apparently they have lower capacity than the classic alkaline ones - they hold the same voltage, they don't fade like NiMh, but they stop supplying power very quickly (probably protection against undercharging? I don't know. ).
Of course, the price is higher, but after a few charges it "returns".
The big issue is endurance - both of the USB-C connector and the discharge/charge cycles. NiMh has held some of them for over 10 years.
