Excellent - no long explanations and yet you really have fun and laugh from the first game! The only minor complaint I have is the number of cards, where in a larger number of players the game can end with someone running out of cards, which isn't as fun as a normal ending. Personally, I solved this by buying an additional deck, which I half-shared with a friend who also owns the game, so now we can both play with either 64 cards from the basic deck (perfect for 2-3 players) or 96 if more of us get together (which makes the game more interesting even at that, because you don't run out of any of the animals so quickly, so you can't gamble on the fact that if you have 5 of a species you don't already have on the table, you're no longer in danger of collecting 4 of it and losing).
