I'm pleasantly surprised. I was considering a Fixed tripod (56cm, about 650 kc) and I'm glad I took this one. Thoughtful in every detail. The button can't be ejected until you pull the rod out, the battery cover is on a screw, the battery is replaceable. The tripod has beaks that prevent it from opening when folded. I'm under no illusions that outdoors at max height with a tripod it will stand up to the wind, the base is too small for that, but for home photography it's perfect. My 180g phone held it, didn't fall over. There is a little bit of deflection at max pull, but that's to be expected. Great buy for the price. Pairing with mobile phone cool (android 14).
