Membrane, connection via usb cable (it's thin and doesn't get in the way), keys are medium height and easy to type on and not noisy. Multimedia and office keys work in Windows without any problem. Volume and mute wheel - great thing. This is the third purchase of the same model in the last x years, I just add them to new pc's or take them to the office - all still working. One minus - I don't understand Dell what led him to shorten the shifter (yeah, cram a slash key in there: -). Other languages have a wide left shift. Dell damn it works, so don't touch it and especially don't change it!

Because I received a keyboard with a different key layout than the one pictured and to which I am accustomed. I was looking for a keyboard for typing, preferably with a wire, because the wireless one typed letters according to mood and battery status (here and there some character or more characters dropped out), ideally with one USB port for fingerprint reader or directly with fingerprint reader (I didn't find one), because stretching to the cabinet and avoiding cables seemed to me quite unergonomic. I'm not mentioning this as a negative, as it applies to all keyboards offered, but rather as a suggestion for improvement of what would be useful if it were: - integrated fingerprint reader (there would be room for it) - extend next to the numeric keypad and integrate a trackball, - user-replaceable keys (at least Z and Y)
