after 9 months dead, but the keyboard issue apparently solved for a decade ahead, okay; inside is 2x quite decent ARM Cortex-M4 64MHz 192kB flash, 24kB ram, nice;
excellent set, fn+esc fn switching
the mouse had a problem with the wheel after about 2 months (it stopped scrolling, terribly annoying, plus unwanted presses of the wheel, it can be turned off), I already wrote it here and just today I unpacked another set and IMMEDIATELY I adjusted the wheel again, again with a Teflon plumber's tape wrapped with a 6-edge wasp stuck into the encoder, it's for 10 minutes. see youtube xZcQnfiLZHs (different mouse, but the Teflon solves it fine, maybe some other way, but there is no Teflon, so again Teflon and it's fine
but after 9 months, the left mouse has failed irreparably, it doesn't hold the grip, a terrible annoyance for "screen snap" especially, microspinac dead, it's quite early, otherwise the whole set even with the hex axis tinting would go on fine. Too bad, but I have 10 sets for the footy.
mouse cage - there are Teflon slides glued underneath the upper and lower ones, under the LOWER one (looking at the Dell logo) there is 1 screw, then from this side crack and carefully pull out of the front latches, the battery contact has to come out (and everything reversed back), the peeled off slide can be glued back on, not necessary, on a slippery table (no need for a pad), but it's not necessary to throw it away, I just put it back on the new set;

Not bad in this price range, I wanted a white one, so there isn't that much of an offer among the whites. The keyboard seems to have worse transitions between the buttons, but I guess I'll get used to that, however, it seems a bit unergonomic for my wrist. The mouse is not rounded enough for me, I will have to add a mouse pad with wrist rest. Probably fine overall considering the price, but I personally would reach for a higher category next time.
