I often see the description "they don't dissolve" or "they dissolve badly" in reviews here. That's not exactly an accurate description. The tablets dissolve very quickly - the rubber wrapper is very thin. Which is paradoxically a problem - the thin soluble wrapper likes to stick to the dishwasher compartment in wet conditions and does not fall out. That's the main problem. If you run, for example, a second wash as soon as it has finished, and the compartment inside is still wet, the tablet tends to stick, not fall out and then dissolve badly. I preferred the older model when they were these blocks of thick dissolvable rubber where it fell out nicely into the dishwasher every time. But I guess they stopped doing that and replaced it with these in a thin bag.
If it does that to you, I would try putting the tablet with the same side up - either the flat side or the bulging side. Maybe one of the sides will be less inclined to stick.
