The grey colour looks quite ordinary and I didn't want to pay 1000kč for the black version (I wouldn't use the music). But you can buy a black strap and a "Hard case" / "TPU Watch cover" on Alík for a few crowns. To prolong battery life, I recommend turning off the SPO2 measurement and choosing a dial that displays seconds only when you move your hands.
Ideal size (I have a 17cm hand circumference and larger ones would be too tight when sleeping)
Excellent battery life 1-2 weeks depending on the amount of activity with GPS
The display is easy to read even without moving your hand; especially outdoors.
A plethora of watch faces in the Garmin Connect IQ app.
Low weight and slightly flexible silicone strap - I hardly feel it during the day and it measures reliably even with a small tightening.
Functional record of open water swimming and breaststroke (watch constantly underwater).
Quite accurate even when swimming in the pool (length counting and heart rate measurement).
The pedometer adds almost no steps when driving the car (but does when brushing teeth)
Lots of training plans that adapt to the user
Sleep data processing requires an internet connection
Very wide bezel around the display; with the light background of the dial it hits the eyes - unused space.
The buttons on the left side need to be pressed a little harder; at the first click they do nothing (but I don't notice it anymore).
The function of the buttons cannot be set (e.g. on long press).
Garmin-pay requires you to enter your PIN at least once every 24 hours (I recommend setting 0000 and then it's a snap).

I've been choosing a sports watch for a long time. The choice was between Venu 2 Plus or FR255. The Samsung is nice, but I discarded it as I don't want to be a slave to charging. In the end, the choice fell on the FR because the Venu 2 Plus has a convex bottom. It didn't fit my hand at all, and the metal wasn't pleasant. Although I have smaller wrists, the FR255 fits perfectly. I also had the "S" version, but it doesn't look good on men's hands in my opinion, it's too small, plus it has a really short strap. I use it for running, fitness and hiking. I'm not connected to my phone 24/7. Sensory heart rate measurement matches, but I have nothing to compare it to. I don't play on exact values due to my amateur focus. I like the option of suggested running workouts, accurate GPS, recovery time and training phase notifications. I think the pedometer counts more when I compared the values with my mobile phone. I can't judge sleep measurement, but even without a watch I know I don't sleep well. In my opinion, the watch functions satisfy both professionals and ordinary athletes. The lack of a touchscreen doesn't limit me at all. The Garmin app is pretty straightforward. The help with explanations of the measured values is nice.

perhaps only the plastic body, but the watch is very light and comfortable thanks to it - but for some it can be a disadvantage

I would give 4.5/5
I'm generally satisfied and rather list the things where I found room for improvement
the pedometer is activated on the bus (Prague, public transport), so it's more the condition of our roads, but it just adds a few hundred extra steps (depending on how long you drive)
The app (Android) isn't quite polished, you can't edit activities. You have to do it right in the watch.
In the pool it adds pools (it can be overwritten but it sucks), according to my research it's when you take a break for a breather and don't move your watch position it just adds it there even if you don't swim
