It'll work. With the ForScan and this adapter it is possible to read parameters on the OBD and from the PCM and it is also possible to run service functions (e.g. DPF regeneration, injector calibration, etc. ). But a true ELM327 could do much more.
Works perfectly with the Car Scanner app
If he feels like it, it works partially with ForScan.
Connecting with ForScan is like winning the lottery. Moreover, it can only handle OBD and PCM connections, nothing more.
