Absolutely unbeatable product
Super cheap
It plays really nicely
I already have several of them in every room in my house and I can't imagine functioning without it anymore.
Voice control
One of my speakers occasionally twitches, but I think that's a defective piece. It doesn't happen with the others

It works for a while
Exactly after the warranty period expired, it became completely software potentiated and I could no longer connect to the network, from top functional status to total unusability in a second
What I described has happened to me repeatedly, where I managed to do it before the warranty period, they accepted my claim
I lost a total of 5 of these devices
Two years ago it cost 799 CZK, now they have probably dropped... Yes, the same 2nd gen

I bought it because I had the bigger one for free with my TV. I wanted multi-room audio. The sound quality is not great. He's a horrible asshole, he doesn't understand anything. Sometimes he understands and does something different. Amazon Echo is much better, although Google can do more and have a conversation (e.g. when he was born > 1975, and when he died > 2018). All my IoT works with it. Of the assistants, Siri is probably the best, but I don't know about Home Pod itself. I've never cussed at a man more than I've cussed at this crap.
DON'T BUY!

Functional
Cannot play some sweeteners
Calling google all the time is annoying. Instead of hey google, just "Gugu" might suffice.

Yeah, he's pretty good.
He speaks positively about Alex
It's obvious she doesn't like Siri very much
Every time you have to say Ok google
You regret that you didn't buy Alexa instead, it supposedly whispers answers to people in tasks, Google pretends it can't hear me when I whisper.
