Sound - compared to the Razer Krakens I had before, they are several levels higher class.
Microphone
Design
Combojack (Headphones+microphone)
USB sound card - although I don't use it because I have a PCIe sound card but someone may find it useful
Very well worn for longer periods of time
The removable microphone is on the one hand a great thing, on the other hand it is annoying compared to the Kraken Pro where I just pushed the microphone in

Unexpectedly high quality. It's certainly not any audiophile hearing aid with pure reproduction, but as a gaming headset it's definitely capable of replacing a pair of quality hearing aids. For that price it is possible to buy e.g. audio technica m40x, but without microphone support and not at all on consoles.
And they are really one of the most comfortable headphones I've ever had on my head, they have an ideal weight distribution (I assume that like Beats they have only pieces of metallic binding to give the impression of luxury, because it's all just plastic), but the earcups and headband padding is very, very comfortable. Replacement earpieces made of textile foam are also included, if someone does not like the goat (which seems to be the right one), but in my opinion they are not needed.
Any unnecessarily "luxurious" packaging makes the whole headset maybe 10% more expensive, a kilo-weight box made of 5mm thick cardboard is really no good to me.

The weak plastic joint has proven itself and they made it even worse than the previous versions, so they leave even more driv
Super cheap impression
Sound card unusable
The slightly different microphone could not be used from the previous version
I will definitely return it before the end of the warranty period

I finally decided to buy, try and test these HyperX Cloud 2 headphones. Some say they are perfect and some say they would never buy them in their life, so I thought I had to try them for myself.
First of all, I would like to start with a positive evaluation.
After the first fitting, the headphones are quite comfortable, the earcups are well padded as is the headband. They are a little tight on the head, but fortunately the pressure is distributed evenly around the ears.
The build quality of the headphones is at a pretty good level. It is durable, but at the same time flexible enough not to crack when overstretched.
Before I start discussing the microphone, I would like to point out that I am not comparing the recording quality with external microphones, only with similar microphones of his own.
The microphone has acceptable recording quality. He will understand you well. Depths are perfect, heights are a little worse, but still usable. While I find the microphone in gaming headsets a bit unnecessary, none can match an external one.
These headphones have below average frequency response consistency. This means that for some people the bass and treble will sound clear and accurate and for others they will be perceived a little differently (e.g. the highs will be less clear or the bass less dense. ) With the glasses on, a noticeable drop in bass can be felt as the glasses arm has broken the airtight seal between the headphones and the head.
The bass is the best thing about these headphones. The low and mid bass are relatively flat. The result is a bass that is capable of creating a really cool punch. However, the high bass is a little more emphasised than the midbass, so the sound is very slightly boomy. Also, their bass performance varies greatly from user to user and is sensitive to the quality of the fit, seal and whether you wear glasses.
Wednesdays performance is remarkable. The low and mid frequencies are virtually flat, providing a clean mix with well-balanced vocals and lead instruments.
What really frustrates me about these headphones is the quality of the treble response. This has a negative effect on the detail and articulation of vocals. The headphones are noticeably hissy, harsh and unpleasant sounding on overly bright tracks.
Sound Verdict:
The HyperX Cloud 2 are decent gaming headphones, but I wouldn't recommend them just for listening to music. Gaming headphones have good bass and balanced mid-range, but poor treble reproduction. They lack a bit of detail and also sound slightly harsh in some tracks due to the inconsistent pitch range. On the other hand, they are comfortable and sound good enough for normal listening.
Playing Verdict:
The HyperX Cloud 2 headset is especially suitable for gaming. They have low latency, a USB or 3.5mm Jack cable connection, reasonably well-balanced sound reproduction and a sufficient microphone with noise filtering. They are comfortable enough to wear during long gaming sessions.

I have the second one, I changed after about 3-4 years and I don't really know what happened to the first ones
I've tried others from Razer in the showroom and I have to say that the design, sound and comfort ratio is somewhere else here
Price/performance ratio
When they're gone, I would definitely buy again
Long enough cord
Even after 10h of playing I don't feel that they are pressing on my ears
I would welcome a slightly different solution for the headphone controls. The remote is in the middle of the cable and it's quite impractical. If this control was more subtle somewhere near or on the headphones, it would be a complete ceiling.
