I have had excellent experience with this clothes dryer for about ten years - it has been placed on the balcony under the windowsill all the time. Compact, spacious and reliable when folded. After many years of use, it has not rusted, but its replacement was necessary due to cracking of the plastic connecting parts that hold the drying bars in the side arm travel due to exposure to direct sunlight, frost, dust, etc.
I highly recommend it.
I recommend that you close it conscientiously when not in use to protect the internal plastic parts of the system.
