Surprisingly high quality optics. The picture is sharp enough. I can compare, because I worked with a professional microscope with a price of 100 000 CZK.
Low price
As a children's microscope, it fulfils its function without any problems
If the kids destroy it (damage it), I won't worry about it as much as if it cost 20 000 CZK
Battery operation
Absence of cross table
Somewhat coarser focusing, but with a little effort it can be focused well

Great optics
Top and bottom illumination - even opaque objects can be examined
Plug-in and battery operated - can be taken on adventurous outdoor expeditions
solid stable, well thought out design
Our 5 year old girl is totally smitten with it - we didn't even expect it, she's exploring everything and everywhere and finding out what she sees and why - perfect gift, daddy took the plunge: -)
nothing yet, we'll see in the spring when there's more to explore: -)
