Logitech Options software is crystalline evil. Lots of components, on the Mack it requires permissions to a lot of dangerous things on the system.
On a Mac without the software installed, the key layout on the keyboard doesn't match the actual layout.
Overall, the software is incredibly "aggressive", it wants to get into everything, it wants access to everything.

I switched to this keyboard from an older K800, which I thought was better than this one, except for the lack of switching between multiple computers, which is nevertheless absolutely great if you work on multiple computers or want to connect the keyboard to a tablet or TV. With Logitech Flow, you can even seamlessly switch between multiple computers by just swiping on the edge of the screen. Otherwise, the keyboard is easy to type on, quiet, good looking. Unfortunately, the keyboard has a number of downsides. First of all, the multimedia keys are combined with the F keys. You can choose what is active by default and what requires the Fn key. The only multimedia key that works permanently is the volume up key. Why on earth? If they had put Mute/Unmute in there I would have added one star right away. When you need to quickly turn off the sound while using the F keys you have to double-key, which delays. The key to put the computer to sleep is completely missing, you can set a combination, in my case Fn+F2. Unfortunately, it doesn't work when the computer is locked, so I have to log in to turn it off, and it doesn't even work when the mouse is on a screen other than the main screen, I really don't understand why. More unnecessary delays. Also, after 5 months of use, the silver-grey finish has worn through and the black plastic is shining through. The keyboard is used 12 hours a day, so I don't spare it, but after less than half a year I wouldn't expect it at this price level. The Logitech K800 looks better after 7 years of the same heavy use, this really didn't do it justice. Probably only need to use white gloves.
