We were buying phones for my grandparents, one of them is this one. We wanted a phone that was as simple and reliable as possible, especially for calls and messages. Unfortunately, we were disappointed right out of the box. The back cover is very difficult to take off and put on, I had to wrestle with it several times before it clicked at all. In addition, the keyboard backlighting is uneven, with some keys glowing less than others. The biggest disappointment is the loud speaker. My grandmother almost always used to call through the last phone, as she can't hear anymore. Even when set to maximum volume here, the sound is faint and almost indistinguishable from a normal call. From a phone designed for seniors, I would expect this to be a lot louder.
