After plugging in, the PC turned on and shut down immediately. By testing the individual components I came to the conclusion of a faulty power supply. The multimeter measurement confirmed the suspicion. I'm currently waiting for a complaint, I'll update the rating once it's settled and the source is replaced with a new one. I hope it was a very rare case of a defective piece.

Really strange wiring of the 24 pins for the motherboard - if like me you have to rewire as part of the testing it is not pleasant, but not a serious hitch.

I've only owned the power supply for a week, during that time I haven't experienced any problems.
Yellow termination of 12VHPWR cable to prevent insufficient cable tucking and subsequent fire

If the 12VHPWR cable is not used, both three and 8-pin cables are available
The 24-pin on the ATX plugs into the power supply separately. One part is on the bottom row of connectors and the other on the top row. But that's not a problem, the cables can be peeled apart for better handling.
