The laptop itself is great, but as mentioned in previous reviews, MSI has placed the Intel Rapid Storage driver on the SSD, but the laptop doesn't have the driver installed, so it doesn't see the SSD. Solved by connecting the portable drive during windows installation, selecting to install the driver and using the file browser to navigate to the driver including installing it from the portable drive. Then only the SSD is seen to install windows. Please note that the SSD also contains the MSI installation package with all drivers and drivers (wifi etc. ) so don't format the ssd to GPT, or pull the data somehow before formatting.
