An excellent light and cheap gaming laptop ideal for carrying around while allowing both work and play. The Intel 12450H+RTX 4050 (45W) processor is average, but it can handle regular work and newer games very well on a FHD 144Hz screen. The performance of the GK RTX 4050, even in the throttled version of 45W, crushes all competition with integrated GK or RTX 2050 or 3050. The notebook is relatively thin, has optimal shapes, and with a weight of 1.8 kg, it is really easy to handle (I evaluate with regard to the gaming category). Normally it doesn' t even work as a gaming one, the backlit keyboard is also ok. Cooling is handled by 1 fan and on balance it is not even noisy. Performance management can also be entrusted to AI. Charging can be set to 60, 80% and limited in the case of using a permanently connected ntb to the socket. Now a couple of negatives. Attention, it is sold without the OS, which I personally appreciate, but here the installation of Win 11 is not so easy, and on the contrary, it is really annoying. You need to download the IRST drivers for the NVMe SSD drive from Intel' s website (MSI does not even bother with these drivers on its website). I believe that for less experienced users it can be a nightmare to get this laptop up and running. Lenovo (but also HP, ASUS) is a steamer further away in user accessibility to install WIN 11. In the same way, Vantage from Lenovo downloads its own drivers and is qualitatively different compared to MSI centers. I would normally reduce it by 2* for the user-friendliness of the installation and SW MSI, but for the really compact shape, pleasant weight and the price for which I got the laptop, I add another 2* and rate it 100% and recommend it!
