Interested in reviews of Owlet Dream Sock 0-18 months (Green)? It got 3.5 out of 5 stars from our customers. Find specific customer reviews of Owlet Dream Sock 0-18 months (Green) below. We will appreciate if you also share your experiences with Owlet Dream Sock 0-18 months (Green) after purchasing.
Don't let the reviews put you off. It's the best thing we could have gotten. If only because unlike the classic breath monitor, it signals when the oxygen saturation drops after 80%, whereas the pad only rings when the baby is no longer breathing, and that's too late for me. I can also see the current status and development of heart rate and saturation at any time in the app. In addition, it also shows sleep data. Another great advantage is the possibility of using it even when the baby is out of the crib. The base can be moved around the house - even to the garden if the wifi can reach there. Someone posted here that the sock came off when the baby kicked their feet while vomiting. This is not practically possible, because the base always signals a loss of signal. It gives three types of audible alerts - loss of signal, significant movement of the baby and drop in oxygen/heat rate. The signal is emitted directly from the base and the mobile rings. Another thing - our baby caught a cold twice and thanks to the sock we knew it sooner - it signaled a drop in saturation as his nose was stuffy before we noticed the runny nose. What we have a problem with is the repeated signaling when we rock the baby to sleep. She thinks the baby's moving too much. But the sock can be switched off in the app for that time, and it turns itself back on once it knows the baby is calm. We have no problem with the correct fitting, just read the instructions and put the baby's sock over the owlet to be sure.
It already monitors a drop in saturation below 80% and not a complete breathlessness like a classic monitor
I've even known a stuffy nose and the beginnings of a cold
Can also be used outside the cot - even at home in the garden
Mobile app - saturation and heart rate status and trend, and sleep data
The base always signals the loss of signal - so it is not practically possible that it would not let you know, as someone wrote here
Reports excessive movement of the baby when we move it while rocking - but can be switched off
We wanted to buy it when the baby was born, but the negative comments gave us away. Now the baby started to roll over on his tummy and didn't want to
I'm buying because of the negative reviews. DON'T BE DISCOURAGED. I think 99% of the problem is between the keyboard and the chair. Yes it says it is disconnected, but only if you connect the base to the charger and immediately remove the sock, if the station is on the charger and you remove the sock no such error has been repeated. Same as deploying, sometimes it requires reading the manual. Deployed according to the photos in the guide and without a single problem. Just ignore the comments and use common sense: )
It's working!
Super overview in the app
We have peace of mind
I can't or haven't found a setting for non-urgent notifications, but we've only had one
When the baby is calm and asleep, it reliably monitors vital signs
If the child starts kicking his feet or is generally restless, the sock stops sensing and throws an error.
My daughter's milk came out in the night, she was gasping for air. Instead of alerting that something was wrong, the sock disconnected from the station and threw an error. So she didn't start screaming, and my daughter was choking.
