Basically you could say it's an entery level RAZER mouse, so perhaps the cheapest normal size, yet it's excellent and suits me fine.
For 750k on sale? Take my money!
Synapse software is decent and cool
The mouse is great to hold, flies lightly on the pad and I don't even use the 6400 dpi
The processing is basic, yet the mouse still feels premium, the cable is not stiff and forms well
Glows a nice enough green, no need for other colours
There is no DPI toggle button directly on the mouse, you always need to do it in the software

Everything works well but I was surprised that it has a plain cable, the picture shows a braided cable so I counted on the mouse to have a braided cable. I know it is not written in the description but I took it for granted razer mice where so far all had a braided cable.
good size
fits well in the hand
nice backlight
the cable is not braided

It's not my first Razer, but definitely the last Deathadder Essential, I'm returning it.
The buttons are OK
Smooth scroll
The larger size suits me
The cable isn't braided like in the pictures, but just a cheap thin wire, like on a £5 mouse
The side grips aren't actually grips. They are made of hard plastic and not textured enough, so the mouse slips out of your hand when you lift it
The sharp white backlighting is very unpleasant, especially in the evening; to turn it off, you need to have the Razer software installed.
