The Synapse 3 mouse setup software does not work in the current version! The mouse doesn't detect at all, so it can't be set up at all. The half-gig download and huge installation is just the icing on the cake.

I was looking for a replacement for my Logitech G403 Hero, which after about 2-3 years started having a double clicking issue. Interestingly, my Logitech G512 SE keyboard has the same problem, so I told myself I don't want a Logitech anymore. I had a Razer DeathAdder Elite before, and it never had the double clicking issue, so we'll see how this mouse does.

Optical switches that shouldn't suffer so much from the double clicking issue, so I'll see. With Logitech, it drove me crazy that I wasn't even able to tag the text.
Compared to the DeathAdder Elite, it finally has built-in memory, which while not perfect, is sufficient for my needs
The mouse has a built-in memory where 4 profiles can be saved (+1 is saved automatically according to the last setting), but these do not save the backlight settings - only the intensity
The buttons can be pressed a little before pressing the switch. Personally, I don't mind it, but e.g. The previous G403 Hero doesn't do this at all - either the whole switch is pressed at once or the button doesn't move at all.
Slightly weaker workmanship than Logitech mice
The left and right buttons have significantly different pressing force - I guess every mouse does to some extent, but I find the difference more pronounced here.
