It vacuums and cleans at the same time, a great time saver. The floor is beautifully clean, pleasant when walking barefoot, no sticking after preparations, as it was with the mop. It picks up all the dirt, so there's no final picking up of accumulated dirt, as I've always done with a hand mop. I appreciate how it refreshes carpets and picks up surface dirt without vacuuming first. The weight of the device seems reasonable to me, it is easy to handle. I have only used the hand cleaner once on the windows so far but I was very pleasantly surprised by the result. The steam has pressure, so it blows dirt out of the frame walls very reliably. Glass and frames remain streak-free. A long enough cable that you just have to learn how to use. But it's probably necessary for the performance of the device. I have an allergic son, so I'm finally happy to be hygienically clean without the use of disinfectants and cleaning is so much more fun now: o) I use it on floating floors, carpets and tiles.
