Thus, no shift to premiumism. The absence of UWB is trivial, especially when it was claimed that S26 would have it, some materials still claim it. Simply a mistake to change, moreover when there is no action of replacing the old one with a new one. I guess I'll be pushed into the apple eventually thanks to Samsung's incompetence.
weight
an absolute disappointment. Compared to the S24 I traded for, no shift
design still the same
still charging slowly
it still takes shitty pictures, but it has giant slides over the lens to make it look
TAKE CARE! Still no UWB. A lot of information says it is.
Samsung boasts about the fantastic thickness of the phone! but my 10-year-old Huawei P30 is even thinner.

I'm switching from a Samsung Galaxy s10+, so it's quite a change. The phone sits well in the hand, is lightweight and I like the way it looks. The display is gorgeous, colors vivid, readable outdoors in the sun without any problems. The 120Hz refresh rate is evident in every scroll - everything feels smooth and responsive. I was pleasantly surprised by the camera. Evening photos in the city are sharp and noise-free. I use circling for searching almost every day. No choppiness, no overheating, everything runs smoothly even with more demanding multitasking.
Beautiful and smooth AMOLED display
Excellent camera even in poor conditions
Great performance, no overheating
Lightweight and pleasant design
IP68 water resistance
Galaxy AI features are practical
25W charging is weak for a flagship phone
4,300 mAh battery lasts a day, but a bigger one wouldn't hurt
The price is quite high

I've been using the phone for a short time, but within just a few moments, one realizes that it's a step ahead again in terms of the fluidity and functionality of the device. We'll see if Exynos can keep up with Snapdragon. The S25 remains in use, so we'll see how both processors look after some time of use. The cameras are still the same. It's sad that with such a compact device change still isn't happening, I think if they upgraded the cameras, a phone this small would have a lot more takers. S25 sometimes slightly overheated - when charging and under heavy load, here so far there is no sign of overheating, so hopefully it will last. AI is fine, but that's not everything these days. Super Dual SIM + eSim, for the person who needs multiple numbers in one device and doesn't want to walk around with 2 phones. The battery is a bit bigger, so we'll see how it holds up after some time of operation. Otherwise, it's simply Samsung. Once you get used to the One UI environment, not much surprises you anymore. All in all, I recommend it.
Larger but still comfortable in the hand
Larger batteries
Smoother running
It does not overheat
Nice display
2 SIM + eSIM
The purple color is great
Display
Price (without introductory event quite expensive)
Still the same cameras
Slower charging, but sometimes it's better for battery life)
Raised camera lens

Overall, so far I rate positively, a big plus for me is definitely the AI, which is quite hilarious. Right from the start I had a few problems with the settings though, the wi-if connected but said it had no internet connection, this still happens now and then, usually turning the wi-fi on and off helps (how else: -)). I also had to reconfigure the basic display settings, to increase the vividness, otherwise everything looked rather "washed out". I'm a bit sorry that the Czech versions have only Exynos (except Ultra) instead of Snapdragon. But still, it's a nice jump for me, I switched from the S21 and the S26 is significantly faster, has a better battery, cameras and overall feels more powerful. I just find the display a little worse. Despite these few reservations, I can only recommend the S26 so far.
AI features
Speed and performance
Better batteries
Quality cameras
Just Exynos versus Snapdragon
Display looks a bit worse to me than S21
I had to adjust the vividness, the display colors were terrible out of the box
Wi-fi is acting up, hopefully it will be okay

The phone is great for everyday use although there are details in which competitors can beat it. But considering everything I've had the opportunity to try, it's probably the most comprehensive device on the market as its predecessors were as well.
Excellent brightness
A camera a cut above its predecessor
System speed and fluidity
Even though samsung tries with antennas and connectivity it still doesn't match the Asus Zenfone 10

I switched to the Samsung S26 from an older Samsung A54 phone that was always choppy, and the difference is unreal. The mobile is lightning fast, 512GB memory gives me peace of mind and charging is a breeze. The light blue color looks great in real life. So far I haven't found a single fault, I'm really satisfied. A modern machine, as it should be!

The phone has very solid hardware, great processing and this combined with an excellent and fine-tuned user environment from Samsung One UI. The big advantage for me is the 7 years of updates, which is another of the main arguments why I choose Samsung. Even though Chinese brands are innovating very quickly in hardware it is worse in software. I prefer fine-tuned and tested functional stuff, and that's what Samsung (and Apple) excels at. I also considered the iPhone 17, but when comparing features at the price, the S26 is a better choice in my opinion (at least now in the introductory promotion). I was pleasantly surprised by the brightness of the display in direct sunlight and its overall quality and natural colours. I would have liked to see Samsung upgrade the cameras more, but the photo quality is excellent and fully sufficient for casual snapshots. The advantage of Samsung's higher-end lineup is AI, which is packed with useful features in addition to the equipment. So far I haven't found anything that I find annoying or bothersome. For example. even "only" 25W charging is absolutely sufficient for me in terms of speed.
Quality workmanship and equipment
7 years of updates
Portability
Samsung's great One UI system
AI features
Solid camera, natural colours
Excellent display, also easy to read even in strong direct sunlight
IP68 waterproof and dustproof
Due to the protruding and side-mounted camera, the phone wobbles when placed on the table
Even though it still has quality photo equipment, Samsung could innovate more, it is starting to lag a bit in this

I chose the Samsung Galaxy S26 mainly because of its compact size as an upgrade from the S24, which is passing on in the family. If one wants a quality compact Android, there's not much choice. S26 or Google Pixel. In the comparison, Samsung won.
Everything works as one expects from Samsung S series.
Long SW support
Light, thin, compact.
Excellent display
It would need better cameras
No significant improvement over the S24, at least at first glance. Pretty bulky protrusion with cameras
Compared to the S24, the smart wallet clear view case is missing
