The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has surprised me very pleasantly so far. The phone is extremely fast, the display is beautifully sharp and the camera takes great photos even in low light. I also appreciate the long battery life and the smooth operation of the system. The data transfer from the old phone went smoothly. I like to use a pencil, but I guess it's more of an extra.

The box contains the phone, a USB cable, a SIM ejection tool and basic documentation. The charger is missing from the package, which is common with premium phones today. The phone is available in several colour options and also in different storage sizes - 256GB, 512GB and 1TB, with the highest version also offering 16GB of RAM. The phone offers high performance, with a strong focus on AI features such as photo editing, call transcription and translation. The biggest strengths are the high-end cameras with 200Mpx main sensor, high-quality 5x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom and luxurious video stabilization, where you can literally turn the phone upside down and still shoot straight. Another interesting feature is the Privacy Display, which hides the screen content from the side and can be activated with a single tap as needed. The phone has a 6.9-inch display, 5000 mAh battery, fast 60W charging and the S Pen stylus. Even though the starting price is higher, Samsung can make the amount nice with its bonuses, kort for this model S26 ULTRA at the top end in terms of Android phones.

I'm switching after five years from the Galaxy S20 FE to the brand new S26 Ultra and I have to say that the generational leap is simply huge. The overall processing is in a completely different league and the phone feels absolutely fantastic in the hand at first. It takes a while to get used to the larger size and overall increased weight of such a compact phone, but it's definitely worth it. I'm just a little worried that the premium bezel will get scratched over time, like it sometimes happens with the new iPhones in the Pro version. But what surprised me besides the processing is the overall smoothness and the beautiful display. After the old FEčku, the phone waits for absolutely nothing, the performance is brutal and everything runs without a single hitch. But the main and most interesting feature of the new S26 Ultra is the unique Privacy Display. Once you turn this feature on, anyone looking at your display from an angle will only see darkness, so you have total privacy in a split second on public transport, for example. A nice bonus is the built-in S Pen, which is great for drawing or signing documents. I was expecting a big change in the endurance and it is really excellent thanks to the great optimization of the whole system. But it's true that on paper it loses out to some Chinese phones. They are already using silicon-carbon batteries and can cram a much larger capacity (over 7000 mAh) into the same size body. Samsung is clearly still worried about this new technology, preferring to play it safe and stick to the tried and tested 5000 mAh. Even so, the battery life is absolutely trouble-free in practice and the phone can handle a whole busy day with ease. For photos and videos, this model still ranks at the absolute top. Samsung has been relying on very similar sensors for a long time, but thanks to a more powerful processor and advanced visual engine, it can squeeze the most out of them. I'm extremely fond of the giant zoom lens, which the S20 FE simply lacked. To sum it up, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra may not excel in absolutely every sector, but if we take the phone as a whole, you simply won't find a better and more comprehensive device currently on the market.

The S26 Ultra is the absolute top of the range. I'm most excited about the new Privacy Display, which does a great job of protecting privacy in public. The phone is blazing fast, has an improved camera, and the AI is a step up again. The design looks luxurious and the storage capacity is ideal for work. I recommend it!
Privacy Display: Revolutionary technology limiting viewing angles for strangers.
New chipset: Extreme performance without overheating, even with demanding multitasking.
Enhanced 200MPx sensor: Even better detail and night shots than before.
Faster charging: Noticeable shift in time spent on cable.
Advanced AI: Smarter automation of photo editing and real-time translations.

Up until now, I've been using the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, so I was curious about the change. When I tried the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, I was surprised especially by the faster performance, better camera and beautiful bright display. Compared to the S23 Ultra, the phone is a step up. Great is the speed of response of both the fingerprint reader and unlocking using your face. The battery lasts me all day, just the price is quite high. 📱
Anyway, I'm happy and looking forward to a smooth run with lots of memory and performance.

I've been using the phone for a week and I'm totally happy with it, the performance it has exceeded my expectations and the privacy protection I found stupid is a thing I use all the time now, it's not that you can't see anything at all, but for a stranger to read what I'm doing they would have to be so close I would break their jaw because it's invading my personal space. Ignoring the price after all a premium model will have it premium so it's the best phone I've had so far. How is the battery after some time of use I will be able to evaluate after a longer time but currently lasts about 1-2 days from 100% to 0 in normal use.
Privacy new feature really works, can't see what I'm doing over my shoulder

The return to Ultra after a year-long test of Fold 7 was a success. The new Ultra 26 is an absolutely fantastic piece of equipment that has totally delivered what I expected from it and there is even a little something extra. The display is absolutely superb - the sharpness, colour rendering, maximum brightness and smoothness are unrivalled and a pure joy to look at. As a user, I very much appreciate the advanced privacy features, thanks to which I have my sensitive data under detailed control and no longer worry when you need to open banking, etc. - yes, it could be solved with a glass slide, but it is forever breaking, if Samsung lives up to its words about the strength of the new display, so in this area is won. The cameras are a separate chapter, producing literally perfect photos in all lighting conditions, with amazing detail and sharpness. The overall craftsmanship is premium, the phone handles great and feels incredibly sturdy and exclusive, even better than the S24 Ultra I had before the Fold 7.

I had a Samsung Galaxy Note20 phone that I still thought was pretty decent, I used the S Pen and notes on it a lot. The difference in photo quality and editing capabilities using AI tools is truly abysmal. With the S26 Ultra, I have no need at all to download and pay for additional apps for photo editing, image generation, etc. I find the S Pen a bit more responsive, it's just a shame that the S Pen's connection to the phone via bluetooth has disappeared. The creative studio is also a blast, especially generating images directly from sketches. Privacy display so far I will use minimally, but I can imagine situations when I will be glad to have this feature on my phone, it works very decently. The design is nicely processed and looks good. I'm a bit bothered by the protruding camera lens when putting the phone down and it could have had a better front camera, otherwise I really have nothing to fault the S26 Ultra.
