Excellent display, quality material. Even though I have a small wrist, the watch still fits me very well. I'm delighted, the strap is also comfortable and feels sturdy. For me, the best watch so far.
This watch is absolutely brilliant and I'm thrilled with it! What I love most is the display, which is much brighter and perfectly readable. The speed of the watch is also immediately noticeable, everything runs smoothly without any lag. I highly recommend it!
I was pleasantly surprised by the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, mainly by its design, which feels modern, durable, and elegant at the same time – although if the watch had a purely round/square shape, it would look even more striking and pleasing. A big plus for me is also the good battery life and the comfortable thickness of the watch – I charge it for an hour every 2–3 days to keep the battery between 20–80%. The controls are intuitive and I got used to them quickly. On the other hand, I do miss the rotating bezel a bit. I'm also not completely sold on the original strap; I would personally prefer a different design – at least a different style of clasp. Overall, though, I am satisfied with the watch and consider it a successful product.
After a long time, I've returned to smartwatches, my previous one being a Gear S3 Frontier. The reason I chose this watch was for the advanced features of a top-tier watch among the Android options, with a long battery life and decent durability. In this regard, the new Watch 2 Ultra was the ideal choice.
The watch is chunkier on the wrist than other models, but compared to older models, this watch includes a large display and a big battery while still maintaining a comparable weight that I was already used to. As for the battery life, I am extremely satisfied with it; during one typical day of use, the battery dropped by about 40% at most (with all the classic features turned on), which corresponds to the estimated 3-day battery life.
I haven't had a chance to fully test the sports features yet, but for outdoor use, the new bright display is noticeably good and is clearly visible in any conditions – although sometimes the display doesn't quite activate correctly when you turn the watch (perhaps it just takes more getting used to these gestures).
As for gesture controls in general (pinching fingers, controlling the TV with movement), they don't work entirely intuitively, but that's more of a gimmick; if someone finds a use for it, they'll find a way to learn how to use them.
One downside for me is the absence of a bezel, which is replaced by a software bezel, but due to the frame around the display, it's not as easy to use as on the lower-end models – so it's simpler just to use the standard controls.
Unfortunately, another disadvantage is having Samsung Pay forced on you via an unmappable button action, but this is a common feature on Samsung watches. However, it's still possible to pay conveniently using Google Pay.
Overall, I'd say this is a very well-made watch that can justify its higher price.
Hilarious design
Smooth system (after the initial burn-in)
Large, very bright display
High battery life
A reasonable weight for the size of the watch
LTE connectivity
Advanced sports features
Resilience
Absence of a physical bezel
The button action dedicated to payments is hard-coded to Samsung Pay.
I originally had the black Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 47mm, which I was partially satisfied with. I was bothered by the frequency of calibration and the short battery life on a single charge.
And so I started looking out for the grey Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 47mm LTE, from which I was hoping for better health features and longer battery life. The price is really high, but thanks to a number of discounts and mainly the buy-back offer, I got it for a price I could accept.
I was also worried about the thickness of the watch, wondering if it would get in the way due to the larger battery. That hasn't been the case so far.
The display wake-up works very nicely, reacting well to hand movement when I want to check the time. I will be testing the other features.
A brilliant step forward! A change I definitely don't regret. I'm writing this review with pure enthusiasm. After switching from an older model (where I had the grey version), I have to say that the new colour looks absolutely brilliant and fits in much better with everyday style. The ergonomics deserve a lot of praise – the watch sits on the wrist noticeably better and more comfortably than last year's Watch Ultra version from 2024. The system performance is incredibly smooth, everything runs briskly and without the slightest stutter. But what impressed me the most is the battery life, which has taken a huge leap forward and is truly significantly better compared to its predecessor. Of the new software features, I absolutely adore the hearing measurement function, which is fantastically implemented. Likewise, I must commend the whole range of other top-notch features and gadgets that are exclusively available for this Ultra 2 model – Samsung has really outdone themselves here. If you're hesitating about upgrading, for me it's a definite buy and a full 5 stars!
Significantly better battery life compared to its predecessors
Great ergonomics and a comfortable fit on the hand (more comfortable than the Watch Ultra 2024).
Top performance and the system runs absolutely smoothly with no lag.
Beautiful colour scheme, which looks better than the older grey version.
I'm switching to the Watch Ultra2 from the Watch 7 and it's a huge difference and a step forward. I'll start with the design, which probably isn't for everyone, but with the second generation, it's been refined so that even these primarily sports-focused watches can be worn normally with a suit or shirt. So for me, I'm satisfied with this versatility. The second major change is the battery life; it's so nice only having to charge the watch every 3–4 days with normal office use. The new sports features are also nice. Overall, I'm more than happy with the watch. My only minor criticism would be the bezel, which doesn't rotate. That's a shame.
I switched to the Ultra2 from the Series 6 and the difference was noticeable from day one. I was expecting the “Ultra” to be a proper chunk on my wrist, but the exact opposite is true — the watch is surprisingly light and fits as if there's nothing there. For the first time, I don't mind leaving it on overnight, which is something I gave up on with previous models after a few days. The sleep tracking finally makes sense because I actually have it on my wrist every night, not just when I remember. The display is the second thing that blew me away. The brightness is fantastic; I can read the watch face in the bright sun on the terrace without having to shade it with my hand or twist my wrist. And most importantly — I have the always-on display turned on and it still lasts over two days on a single charge. That's a completely different league compared to the Series 6, where I was practically charging it every other day and had to turn off the AOD just to get through the day comfortably. After a week of wearing it, I have nothing I can really fault.
The price is obviously high and you need to bear in mind that it's a proper investment, but if you're looking for a watch you can put on and then not think about for the next two days, this is it.
I'm switching from the Galaxy Watch 6 to the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and it's a huge difference, and so far I don't regret my decision at all. The transition to the new watch took less than 5 minutes and after a few clicks, everything was set up and ready to use. As soon as I unboxed it, I was impressed by its design. The watch feels very high-quality and robust, but also elegant. It looks modern and premium on the wrist. At first, I was a bit worried it would be too big and heavy, but after a few days, I got completely used to it. I wear it practically all day, and at night too for sleep tracking. The new silicone strap is really comfortable and matches the watch beautifully, and it feels really pleasant on the wrist. Even after a whole day on my wrist, it's not uncomfortable in any way and thanks to the ventilation, my skin can breathe easily. The display is a big plus. It's beautifully bright, the colours are vibrant, and everything is clearly legible even outdoors in direct sunlight thanks to the really strong brightness. The touch controls work without any issues and the system is very responsive. I've never had the watch freeze or react slowly. I also appreciate the option to customise the watch faces to my own liking, so everyone can create a look that suits them best. I like that it automatically recognises most activities. The contactless payment option, which I use almost every day, is also practical. You just tap your wrist on the terminal and it's paid. In my opinion, this is one of the features I got used to the fastest. Of course, it's not entirely without flaws. The price is relatively high, so it's not a watch for everyone. Also, some of the advanced features work best with a Samsung phone, which might be a disadvantage for users of other brands. But that doesn't bother me at all, because I use a Samsung phone. Overall, I am really satisfied with the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. It has met all my expectations. I appreciate the quality workmanship and the excellent display. If I had to choose again, I would buy it without hesitation.
I've upgraded to the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 from the first generation and so far I'm really chuffed with it. I was expecting a smaller step up, but in everyday use, you can tell it's another leap forward. The watch is fast, feels genuinely premium, and is great to wear all day. I particularly like the battery life, the accuracy of the measurements, and the overall reliability. The display is fantastically readable even outdoors and the system is very responsive. If anyone is using the first Ultra and thinking about an upgrade, in my opinion, the Ultra 2 is a successful successor and I definitely don't regret the purchase. For me, it's maximum satisfaction so far.
