The Ultra2 is great. Easy set-up straight out of the box. I was able to set-up in a few minutes. Has a nice feel, feels nice on the wrist, lighter than the previous version. miss the bezel though. I'm using the watch for running and health tracking, and the new AI feature are really impressive. The greater battery capacity means I no longer need to change setting to conserve power as I was doing previously.

A big step up from the older versions, both in terms of the display and the battery. Even though it's a bit bigger, it sits nicely on the wrist.

I've only had the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 47mm LTE for a short time, but my first impressions are very positive. I was most surprised by the battery life, which is a really noticeable improvement compared to my previous smartwatch. The watch feels high-quality and sturdy, yet it's comfortable to wear. The display is beautifully clear, large enough, and the controls are fast and intuitive. I also appreciate the LTE, which means I don't have to have my phone with me all the time. So far, I'm very satisfied with the watch and definitely don't regret buying it.
Excellent battery life
Large and easy to read display
Quick and smooth to use
Quality and robust processing
LTE – can also be used without a phone
Comfortable to wear despite the larger size.
Loads of functions for sport and activity tracking
Higher price
Larger sizes may not suit everyone
They might look quite bulky on a smaller wrist.
Charging could be faster

They paired with the phone easily, and compared to my previous ones, they have loads of useful features. For example, the preview for the remote camera shutter. The size is just about right, I wouldn't want anything bigger (my wrist circumference is 173mm). I really like the integration with a Samsung phone. There's no mechanical bezel, only a touch one, which is a bit of a shame, but the touch one is usable too.
Lasts 2–3 days, which is decent for a WearOS watch.
They're bigger and heavier, which some people might not like
Doesn't charge with a standard QI charger

The watch works well, the system is fast and the display is easy to read even outdoors. I appreciate the accurate GPS, clear activity tracking and solid battery life. The build quality feels good. They are a bit bigger and heavier, but for me, that's a plus. Overall I'm happy with them.

A Garmin would be better, but that's in a different price range.

I bought this watch for my husband as a gift, and we're both absolutely thrilled with it. It has a beautiful display, a fast and smooth system, excellent visibility in the sun, and a high-quality titanium body with sapphire glass. What we like most is that Gemini responds really quickly and can answer in different languages. We've already tested the watch in water, and everything worked without any problems. My husband is very happy with it. It was a really great choice for a gift, and I definitely recommend it!

I unboxed the watch at midday on Saturday and charged it to 100%, then very intuitively transferred all the data from my older Samsung watch. Of course, for the first few days I played around with the settings a lot, which was hard on the battery, and it ran out of power on Monday evening. Compared to the previous version, I would definitely praise the display, it's significantly brighter and easier to read, and also the strap, which is more comfortable to wear and fits better around the wrist. It feels like it takes longer to fully charge the battery, which has a larger capacity.

After 4 years, I replaced my Watch 5 Pro with the current generation Ultra 2, and the improvement is noticeable on all fronts. The display finally has a size that allows for genuinely comfortable use, and the readability, which wasn't bad before, is now significantly better. The watch's performance can handle several demanding tasks at once with ease, so you can happily switch from navigation to the weather, reply to a message, play your favourite music, and then go back to navigation, all without a single system stutter. Also, the fact that the watch vibrates to indicate, for example, a turn during navigation, means I finally notice it even when I'm on my bike. On top of all this is the beautiful design, which looks much better in real life than in the promotional photos. Activity tracking, which is what I primarily use the watch for, is in a category of its own. Whether it's hiking/cycling with navigation or a circuit training session, I haven't noticed any gaps in the graphs, which shows how well it fits on my wrist. I have no reason to doubt the watch's durability; it's supposed to be even greater than the old 5 Pro, and that one went through a lot with me. The larger battery capacity is not to be sniffed at either, although it will probably take a year or so to assess how significant this increase is, or whether the larger, brighter display just 'swallows' it up. What personally disappoints me, however, is the absence of a rotating bezel, or at least a button. I would have welcomed the option for better hardware control of the watch, not just when my hands are dirty from a rock face, but also in general – the display doesn't need to be constantly smudged, after all. Another painful fact is the non-functional reverse charging from a mobile, which I used quite often as a backup when travelling. The reason for this change honestly escapes me, because the watch recognises the charging but rejects it as incompatible.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra As a long-time owner of the first-generation smartwatch from Samsung, I have a great comparison with the previous model, and I have to say that the latest generation brings exactly the key improvements I’ve been waiting for for a long time. Overall, this is a significant step forward in all the fundamental aspects of daily use. The biggest and most significant leap for me is definitely the battery life. While with the previous generation I had to charge the watch practically every day, the new version easily lasts a full two days of intensive use without any problems. In practice, this represents a huge difference in comfort, especially with active use of all-day heart rate measurement, tracking sports activities, and night-time sleep monitoring. Another very pleasant surprise is the overall ergonomics of the device. Although the official technical dimensions on paper don't suggest a major change, the watch feels noticeably more compact and elegant on the wrist. It fits much better, doesn't get in the way, and doesn't feel as massive to wear as the older generation, which I appreciate both at work and during sports. Last but not least, I must praise the display. The significantly higher maximum brightness is immediately noticeable in the real world. Readability in direct, sharp sunlight is absolutely excellent, and the colour reproduction is very vivid and high-contrast. This makes controlling the watch and reading notifications comfortable and hassle-free in any light conditions during the day. If you're upgrading from the first generation, you will immediately appreciate these improvements. The watch is more refined, more practical, and offers a more mature user experience. This upgrade definitely makes sense, brings real value, and in my opinion, the investment in the new generation has clearly paid off. Thanks to this, I can confidently recommend the watch to everyone who is still hesitating about whether the switch from an older model is really worth it.
longer battery life
brighter display in the sun
feels more compact in size

After 4 years, I was forced to switch from my Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 47m mainly due to the pitiful battery life when using GPS, which was only about 5–6 hours. As a hiker who regularly goes on 8–10 hour treks (sometimes even longer), this was just incredibly annoying. I had to charge the watch from a power bank during breaks. I didn't really like the original Ultras, so I decided to wait for the second version and bought it on the first day of release. I thoroughly tested the battery life the very first weekend after buying it, and so far, I'm very satisfied. Because I don't sleep with the watch on (I just can't stand having anything attached to me), I'm not that bothered about the standard battery life (I just put it on the charger at night) but rather the GPS battery life, as I like to record and analyse my routes. The display is excellent, really easy to read in direct sunlight. What surprised me was how easy the setup was; if you're switching from another WearOS device, the watch simply configures itself exactly like your previous one, including the watch face, and you just have to add your payment cards. I haven't tested the new health features yet, but I'll try to add an update here later. I also don't really get what the middle button is actually for yet. So far, I'm 90% satisfied.
excellent display (size, brightness)
comfortable strap
excellent battery life (compared to the Watch 6 Classic I upgraded from)
The watch looks substantial on the wrist, which is what I wanted (to have a proper 'clock' on my arm).
no rotating bezel (I was used to it for adjusting the volume or for very convenient scrolling through notifications, for example)
the display is still a bit small (but what can you do, they don't make a bigger one yet)
On my very first trip, it happened several times that I accidentally pressed the bottom button, which paused my activity. That's quite annoying, I'll have to look into why that's happening in more detail.
