The phone is very fast, with plenty of performance. The display readability is good, even in the sun. The crease on the inner display is practically invisible, which is great. It supports 45W charging, so the phone charges significantly faster than its predecessor. Thanks to the new battery type, the battery life is all-day, which is a significant upgrade compared to previous Fold models. You can charge the battery in under an hour with a 45W charger, which is brilliant. It handles having three or even four apps open at the same time without any issues. A major disadvantage is the weaker dust resistance; since Google managed IP68 for its foldable, I don't understand why Samsung couldn't do the same.

The crease on the display is now practically unnoticeable. The battery lasts longer than on previous models. The processor is once again a level up, so the performance is great. The only thing that caught me a bit off guard is the slot for only one physical SIM card. I only found this out when I first turned it on and had to unexpectedly convert one of my SIMs to an eSIM. Despite this, I still rate the Fold 8 as an excellent device.
