The plastic just stupidly enlarges the device, and so stupidly that you can' t use a marker and maybe sign, etc.
even in 16GB decent IOPS and speed
if it was an LED, flash would be suitable, for example, as an OS installation medium (windows, linux, android)
useless large case even if the electronics are on a small circuit board
it does not have an activity indicator LED and it is not easy to add an LED even to the printed circuit board

I did a simple test - copying 4 GB of video to a flash drive and then copying it back to the laptop. For writing to the flash drive, the speed was stably around 30 MB/s (more like 28), which is a pleasant surprise compared to the 20 MB/s stated in the description. For reading (copying from flash drive to computer) the speed was around 130 MB/s, which matches the description. In addition, there is a program on the flash drive through which you can encrypt selected files.
Write speeds around 30 MB/s
Read speeds around 130 MB/s
Option to encrypt selected files

Design, price, acceptable speed (according to my approximate measurement, writing about 18MB/s, reading 27MB/s)
A bit wider body that partially blocks the second USB port on my laptop
