This is a standard fan which forces the intake air through a material that absorbs water located at the bottom of the unit, i.e. The air blown out of the device contains a certain percentage of water vapour. It cooled a room measuring 12 m² (approx. 20–25 m³) from 30 °C to 29.8 °C in 2 hours, i.e. by just 0.2°C. Unfortunately, that won’t be much help to me in this sort of heat. Otherwise, the design of the unit is technically well thought out and it isn’t particularly noisy for its size (the diameter of the fan blade). It looks nice too, but it doesn’t cool very well: ) I’m giving it the minimum number of stars because I only bought it for its cooling capabilities, and it hardly cools at all. If I were buying it as a standard fan, I’d give it the full number of stars.
