I wanted a slicer that is capable of slicing smoked meats and cheeses and this machine really can't do that. Even though I didn't push the sliced cheese at all, it skips gears and makes horrible noises.
I don't know
I'm returning the slicer. Immediately after trying it, I decided to return. Poor workmanship. The slicing blade is blunt, moves in the fit and the wheels in the gears skip when slicing cheese.
