The Siemens EQ500 classic offers very good value for money. I particularly appreciate the ceramic grinder, the simple controls and the easy maintenance. What disappoints me is the limited selection of drinks, the susceptibility of the plastic parts to scratching and the cheap-looking graphics. On top of that, you have to factor in the larger size, higher noise level and the price of the accessories. Overall, it's a good coffee machine for everyday use, but some details could do with a better finish given the price category.

Limited selection of coffee drinks. For example, I miss a Flat White or an Espresso Macchiato.
The black plastic cover by the coffee spout is prone to scratching. You barely have to touch it and scratches appear immediately, even when wiping it with a cotton cloth.
The graphics for the drinks look cheap. I would prefer a more elegant and minimalist design, even a black and white version would be fine.
Expensive accessories and consumables. For example, the water filter represents an additional cost with long-term use.
The coffee machine has rather large dimensions, especially its width. It takes up quite a lot of space on the kitchen counter.
Relatively high noise level. The coffee machine is quite loud, especially when grinding coffee and cleaning.
