What I appreciate most about this scale is that it weighs. He weighs. And it has two buttons that can offer exactly the range of functionality I expect from a scale. Previous scales had more functions or buttons, but somehow forgot why they are in the world (hint: to weigh), which is why they are now in silicon hell wondering what went wrong. This one will probably avoid their life path. I don't have to buy those flat flashlights, which I always buy twenty kinds of, only to find out that they are all wrong and have to buy another one and study the tables to see which CR and LS numbers are the same. Sure, if I have 49 grams of plain flour in a half-kilogram bowl and I try to add up to 50 grams, the scale sometimes peeks at me like a deer at the headlights of a car, forgetting to show the one gram, and when it wakes up, it throws in another gram as a bonus, which sometimes upsets her sandal a bit and she takes off that one gram again, not realizing that I didn't buy her to do seven-segment shows for me, but I've come to understand that even a scale needs a little distraction in its otherwise boring life.
