Headphones purchased for my girlfriend for her birthday. She originally wanted an Airpod Max but I talked her out of it for the money. So I was looking for an alternative. Sony XM4 or XM5 pricewise nonsense. I was thinking about the 720N Sony but that is again kind of overkill for an entry model. No Case, no glory sonically. Then we spotted from Sony came out with a new Ultra Wear model of headphones. For 3 days I've been scrolling through YouTube reviews. And he chose them. I got a super bonus from alza for a long term Gold account which is not rejected. And the girlfriend very satisfied. I'm an audiophile too. Lots of settings via the app, including the equalizer. Just a little annoying registration to the application, which constantly happs and managed to register only on the 10th attempt. Oh, and one more tidbit that's not mentioned anywhere. When you take the headphones off your head, the playing is paused. It's a delight.

I bought an unboxed piece and compared it to the Edifier WH950 and Bose QuietComfort. Marginally also with Sennheiser SPORT True Wireless - but these are earbuds without ANC, only sound.
